The Traders and Artisans Coordinator for Gomoa East, James Donkoh, has reassured members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) grassroots that job opportunities are on the horizon.
He emphasized that party leadership is actively working behind the scenes to create employment avenues for loyal supporters.
Mr. Donkoh made this statement at Gomoa Nyanyano, where he unveiled a set of Boboobo drums donated to the Volta Diaspora Caucus, Zone Three.
The donation was in appreciation of the group’s efforts during the recent campaign that secured victory for the NDC in the constituency.
“I understand the frustration among our grassroots members regarding job opportunities after elections,” Mr. Donkoh said. “But I urge everyone to remain patient. The NDC government is committed to ensuring that every loyal member benefits it’s only a matter of time.”
He also called for unity within the party, cautioning against internal divisions despite the NDC being in power. “Victory should strengthen our bond, not divide us,” he added.
The event also saw Mr. Kwaku Ernest Adebo, Volta Diaspora Coordinator for Gomoa East, express gratitude for the donation.
He encouraged Volta youth to stay hopeful, assuring them that party leaders are working diligently to deliver on job promises.
