Bechem United Head Coach, Kassim Mingle, has stated that, his team is not scared of the current league champions Asante Kotoko but only have respect for them ahead of their outstanding league fixture on Thursday.

The Hunters claimed their very first win of the 2022-23 GPL season after narrowly beating newly-promoted Kotoku Royals FC having lost their previous two league matches.

Seeking to continue where they left off against Kotoku Royals FC, Bechem United would face the Porcupines warriors in their next league game after their initial fixture was postponed due to Kotoko’s engagement in Africa.

Sharing his thoughts on what many have said would be “An Outstanding Battle”, against the Porcupine Warriors, the Gaffer for the Bechem side said,

“Kotoko against King Faisal looked impressive and we would have to applaud them but this is a game of football and tomorrow is a different day and we would match them boot for boot”. He told Odiasempa Kwame Oware On Wamputu Sports.

He further disclosed how his team would approach the game saying,

“We would approach this game like how we approach any of our home matches.
“There is no pressure on the boys so we would approach this game like we have always done .

“The boys know they would have to be extra alert with this game because of the caliber of the opponents would be facing.
“Tomorrow, the better side would carry the day and I’m positive we would be victorious”. He added.
