Ghanaian socialite, Hajia4Real has made some vital requests to the Manhattan federal court for her alleged participation in a number of schemes that preyed on vulnerable persons who lived alone.
She pleaded with the court to decrease her bail conditions by putting in some requests she believes if approved will make things more flexible for her.
Her current situation which is more like a house arrest requires that, Hajia4Real is not to move an inch from her apartment in New Jersey and to make sure of this, she has a GPS tracker on her ankle.
In a court statement going round, she was asking for the judge to ease up her conditions so she can move around on basis that she has been of good behavior.
According to her, her 9 year old daughter who is currently staying with her is being affected by the whole situation and is beginning to feel like a prisoner.
Hence she requested that the court grants her permission to be able to take her daughter out for shopping and to amusement parks as she will begin elementary school soon and desires to give her some treats before she starts.
She also pleaded with the judge to permit her move around her neighborhood in New Jersey and also some parts of New York.
She added that if in any case, the court is uncertain about what she wants to do, the tracking device on her ankle should be enough to monitor her movements.
Mona Faiz Montage, popularly known as Hajia4Real was extradited from the UK to the US for allegedly defrauding elderly single American men and women out of almost $2 million in a romantic scam.
She has however, pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against her.
