Happy 98.9 FM, a leading radio station committed to delivering timely and accurate news to its listeners, today announced the expansion of its flagship news program “Happy Kasaebor” with the addition of a new 6am bulletin. The morning broadcast will begin airing on Monday, March 3, 2025, completing the station’s comprehensive news cycle that already includes established Happy Kasaebor bulletins at 12 noon and 6pm.

The new early morning bulletin aims to provide listeners with essential updates on overnight developments, morning traffic conditions, weather forecasts, and the day’s upcoming events, ensuring audiences start their day well-informed.

“In today’s fast-paced world, access to timely information is more important than ever,” said Kwabena Ampong, also known as ‘Simpleman’, Programmes Manager at Happy 98.9 FM. “By introducing our new 6am Happy Kasaebor news bulletin, we’re responding to our listeners’ needs for comprehensive news coverage throughout their entire day. We’re committed to being the first source of information they turn to as they start their morning routines.”

The morning bulletin will feature a concise roundup of overnight news, live traffic updates, detailed weather forecasts, and previews of major events scheduled for the day. The program is designed to deliver essential information for listeners beginning their day, with particular focus on stories they might have missed during the late night hours.

“Our news team is excited to expand our coverage to the morning hours,” said Fati Shaibu-Ali, News Editor at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting (GMABC). “This additional Happy Kasaebor bulletin allows us to provide more comprehensive coverage of developing stories and ensures that our listeners never miss important updates, regardless of their daily schedule. We’re particularly focused on delivering information that will help our audience prepare for their day ahead.”

The 6am bulletin will join Happy 98.9 FM’s established noon and evening ‘Happy Kasaebor’, creating a complete news cycle that keeps listeners informed throughout the day. While the afternoon news at 12 noon provides midday updates, the evening edition at 6pm delivers a comprehensive one-hour broadcast that includes “Nsem Sisi,” a popular segment featuring bizarre and unusual news stories from around the world.
