Ace Ghanaian sports journalist, Joe Debrah has been named the Sports Show Personality of the Year at the 3rd edition of the Sintex Ghana Media Personality Awards.
The awards ceremony which was held at the Mikkaddo Conference Centre on Saturday July 16, 2023 saw Joe Debrah emerging winner of the sports personality category.
The host of Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9 FM received the award on the basis of his dedication and commitment to the sports industry in the country.
Commenting after receiving the award, he thanked the organizers of the award scheme for recognizing the work of media personalities and his team members for their support.
“It is a great honour to see how, over the years, we continue to receive accolades for our dedication to the sports industry. Indeed, we are immensely proud of what we have achieved, but we recognise that we could not have come this far without the support and loyalty of our team members and all listeners. I therefore dedicate this award to our listeners and the lovely HappyFM brand. Thank you all.
He added, “Ayekoo to my team members Alan green, the researcher, Ohene Bampoe Brenya, Obiba and others for their relentlessness and commitment to the success of the show.”
The awards organized by Mojo Media also known as Sintex Ghana Media Personality Awards honours, celebrates and rewards individuals whose exceptional vision contribute to shaping the future of Ghana’s media industry.
