The Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central, John Kwame Adu Jack, has reiterated his dedication to substantially enhancing the quality of education within his constituency.
He conveyed this notice at the Antwirifo Presbyterian Junior High School, where he donated ten computers to the school to facilitate the teaching and learning of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), thereby advancing digital education.
During the donation, the MP, accompanied by the constituency Chairman and other party executives emphasized that education forms the foundation of all endeavors, underscoring the importance of strengthening ICT education in an increasingly technological and digital world, hence the donation of computers.
He also urged the Parent-Teacher Association and school management to ensure adequate security measures are in place at night to safeguard the computers, thereby prolonging their use to fulfill their intended purposes.
John Kwame Adu Jack remarked that he facilitated the connection of electricity to the school at the request of the school management to ensure consistent power supply. This was followed by the procurement of several computers to enhance the effectiveness of ICT studies.
He stressed that the contribution to the Antwirifo Presbyterian Junior High School was not due to his ties to the community. Rather, the timely submission of the request warranted an early response. Consequently, all other schools within Antwirifo and the entire Dormaa Central constituency will benefit.
The Assistant Headteacher of Antwirifo Presbyterian Junior High School, Stephen Kwadwo Agyei, expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the students and the school management to the Member of Parliament and his delegation for their generous contribution towards enhancing education in the community.
He assured that the computers would be utilized effectively to achieve improved educational outcomes for the students. He also mentioned the need for additional computers and a projector to facilitate a more conducive teaching and learning environment.
