Asante Kotoko head coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor has furiously replied Hearts of Oak head coach Kim Grant after beating the Phobians 5-4 on penalties to qualify to the final of the Normalisation Committee Tier 1 Special Cup on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors have reached the final of the NC’s Special Cup Tier 1 after beating their arch-rivals Hearts 5-4 on penalty shootouts following a 1-1 draw in the entire duration of the encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday.
After Kotoko’s victory, their trainer C.K Akonnor furiously replied coach Kim Grant who has recently claimed his outfit purchase strategic players whiles the former buy unstrategic players.
In an exclusive interview on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, CK replies Kim Grant nicely:
“I came with unstrategic players and I have won against those who signed strategically,” he said.
Kotoko will face Karela United in the final of the NC Tier 1 Special Cup on Sunday, June 30.
