Ghanaian twi pop artiste, Darlington Agyekum has revealed the reason behind his stage name choice, Dr Cryme.
In an interview with Akua Sika on the Ayekoo show, he explained that getting a stage name for his music career wasn’t easy as he did not want a name that was easily known by people, but he looked out for a name that would catch attention.
He described himself as a very creative person with interests in creating content and concepts. This nature was coupled with his desire to make his music therapeutic to all listeners.
“I chose Dr because when you are unwell you will go to the hospital to see a doctor and that’s why I added the title Dr.”
