Member of Parliament for Agona West Constituency, Cynthia Mamle- Morrison has urged her supporters to remain calm as she has not rescinded her decision to contest as an independent candidate neither has she received any money to that effect.
Speaking in an interview after the release of a communique debunking the alleged rumors, she reaffirmed her stance of contesting the Agona West seat in the December 7th elections.
‘’I was in a friend’s office when I received a call from my family, alleging that leadership has given me money to step down from contesting, initially I thought it was a joke’’.
She added that, ‘’when I checked through social media, I was surprised seeing these trending’’
According to her, the viral pictures trending on social media are mere pictures she took with the majority leadership, adding that, she has pictures with most of the majority MPs in parliament, hence it does not reflect anything.
