Hiplife artiste, Nana Boroo has blasted presenters and DJ’s who take their moneys without playing their songs.
The “Ahayede” hit maker advised presenters and DJ’s, if you take our monies, play our songs,” he said.
He added, “ if I give you money and you don’t play my tracks, I don’t get it.
Can you imagine, after some of these DJ’s take monies from musicians, they normally want us to call them and remind them before they play our songs which is not part of the agreement.
When it happens that way it’s indicates that you are not serious as a DJ,” he told Doctar Cann on Accra based Happy FM.
Nana Boroo who’s known in real life as Nana Osei Bonsu additionally revealed, “if I work with you as a DJ and I realize you are not serious I have to sideline you and move to somewhere else.”
He finally adviced Ghanaians DJ’s to stop playing Nigerian songs and play ‘our local Ghanaian music.
Nana Boroo has been away from the music scenes for quite a while now, he just released a new single titled Broken Heart which features sensational rapper Sarkodie and produced by StreetBeatz records.
