Ghanaian female musician and songwriter, Ethel Eshun known in the music circles as eShun has reacted to criticisms about her new song dubbed ‘Ko Ti Mano’ as she says that her song is not profane.

In an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM’s “Ayekoo After Drive” show, eShun explained: ”I treat all my songs based on different concepts and ideas. I have sung songs about forgiveness, hatred, heartbreak and party. It is time to reach out to the youth and I believe they love it. Anyone who thinks my song is profane should write a song and bring it to me”.

Her new song, ‘Ko Ti Mano’ has sparked a lot of argument as to whether the lyrics of the song are appropriate especially to the youth in the country. eShun, however, maintains that her song is one devoid of profanity. She furthered that the intended meaning of the song was a scenario of a person plucking something for another and as such people should not misunderstand the content of the music.

eShun is currently promoting this new single, ‘Ko Ti Mano’ which was produced by King Odyssey.
