Presenter, Londona, has applauded organizers of Ghana Music Awards schemes in other countries, as he says it is a very good initiative.

Speaking with Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra, he confessed that he was very excited and impressed when he heard of the newly introduced Ghana Music Awards-Dubai because the idea of introducing Ghanaian award schemes in other countries is very laudable.

He detailed that, “This is good because with these award schemes in other countries, we introduce the foreigners to our culture. Let’s not forget that foreigners also come here to exhibit their cultures so it’s very good that we’re also building platforms to showcase our own culture to them”.

According to Londona, this is a very good platform to help Ghana showcase to other countries that we have great artistes who are putting out beautiful music, and through that, we can sell our artistes and their music. Ghana is very hospitable to foreigners so let’s take our culture to them and see if they’re hospitable to us as well”.

He encouraged that there are Ghanaians in various countries all over the world, hence, especially for those who where born outside and they do not know much about their culture, this will be the best way to draw them closer to Ghana and it’s cultures.

“I think that this is in order. Ghana Music Awards Dubai is a good initiative and it has come to stay”, he further concluded.

The Ghana Music Awards Dubai (GMA-Dubai), brained by Medvic Media, is set to be launched on January 30, 2022 in Ghana, with artistes and stakeholders in the music industry in attendance.
