The Member of Parliament-elect for the Amenfi Central Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region, Joana Gyan Cudjoe has expressed her gratitude to the people of Wassa Amenfi Central for their overwhelming support.

She stated that their endorsement signifies a strong mandate for her to deliver significant development and infrastructural projects in the constituency, particularly in the areas of roads, employment, and social policies under the administration of John Dramani Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.

According to Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the hard work and dedication of branch and constituency executives, coupled with her personal efforts, played a crucial role in securing a resounding victory for the NDC in both the presidential and parliamentary elections held on December 7, 2024.

Joana Gyan Cudjoe revealed that her efforts helped the NDC win in polling stations and communities that had been difficult for the party to secure since 1992. She emphasized that the unity, cohesion, and collaborative efforts of the party in addressing key issues such as job creation, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere, and fixing the constituency’s poor road network contributed to their victory.

She also emphasized her commitment to using her monthly salary to support her constituents, aiming to encourage and promote more developmental projects in the Amenfi Central Constituency. She called on everyone to pray for her so that she can serve for many years and transform challenges into opportunities, ensuring the constituency receives the support it needs.

Joana Gyan Cudjoe noted that the Amenfi Central Constituency faces significant developmental challenges, but a longer tenure in Parliament would enable her to create more opportunities and drive substantial progress for the area.
