Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, made a compassionate visit to the home of the late Daddy Lumba to console the grieving family.
The legendary highlife musician, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, passed away on July 26, 2025, following a brief illness, leaving the nation in mourning.
Dumelo arrived at the East Legon residence, where heartfelt tributes and solemn reflections filled the air. Clad in traditional mourning attire, he joined other sympathizers in honouring the memory of a man whose music shaped generations.
His visit underscores the deep sense of loss felt across Ghana’s cultural and political circles, and reflects the nation’s unified grief over the passing of one of its greatest musical icons.
