Officials and supporters of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), young and old alike have gathered at the Bukom Boxing Arena ahead of a youth empowerment townhall conversation event organised by the office of John Dramani Mahama.
The meeting follows the launch of the party’s youth manifesto which was organised today, August 12, 2024 at the University of Professional Studies Accra.
NDC’s National Youth Organizer, George Opare Addo in an engagement with happyghana.com explained that the party is committed to eradicating the effects of a harsh economy on the youth by introducing policies that provide them with a variety of job opportunities.
He explained that the event is expected to be very engaging and will have the flag bearer himself moderate the event as he engages with the youth. “Today marks a new era in Ghana’s political history. The NDC has evidently brought out policies that are youth-oriented; today John Mahama engages with the youth himself to establish a cordial relationship with them as he brings what he has for the youth of Ghana on board.”
