Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stating that they have done all they can and have nothing new to offer.

Speaking at the Babotokuma market in the Kintampo North constituency, he urged Ghanaians not to expect any fresh initiatives from the NPP.

Mr. Mahama emphasized the need for change, using the analogy that while the first and second instances of being deceived might be understandable, falling for the same trick a third time would be foolish.

He called on voters to learn from past experiences and make informed choices in the 2024 election.

Reflecting on the NDC’s time in power in 2016, Mahama acknowledged that while conditions were not perfect, they were considerably better than they are now under the NPP’s leadership.

He pointed out that the NPP made numerous promises that swayed the electorate, but after eight years, the results have been disappointing.

He highlighted the NDC’s commitment to policies like a 24-hour economy, aimed at creating employment and bringing hope to Ghanaians. He urged the public to vote massively for the NDC come December 7th.
