President Akufo-Addo rejects calls to scrap manifesto promises

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has replaced resignee ministers in his government.

This was communicated to parliament in a letter to the speaker.

Some of the nominees including Mr. K.T. Hamoong and Stephen Asamoah Boateng are expected to be vetted by Parliament’s Appointments Committee for approval by the House.

Below is the list.

Hon Kobina Tahiru Hammond – Minister for Trade and Industry

Hon Bryan Acheampong – Minister for Food and Agriculture

Hon Stephen Asamoah Boateng – Minister for Chieftancy and Religious Affairs

Hon Mohammed Anim Adam – Minister of State in the Finance ministry

Hon Osei Bonsu Amoah – Minister for Local Government

Hon Herbert Krapah – Deputy Minister for Energy

Hon Dr Stephen Amoah – Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry
