The National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has cunningly given his blessings to one his deputies to take over as the National Organizer if the party goes to the polls next year.
Mr. Adams, seemingly gave this endorsement to the candidature of Mahdi Jibril on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah.
Earlier, when the host of the show called Mr. Adams to react to the happenings under the New Patriotic Party with particular reference to the vigilantism and he was informed that Mahdi Jibril was in the studios.
This is what the former spokesperson for the Rawlings said about him… that guy is a great guy… he is great guy he said ahead of making his points on the show.
He is one of the hard working guys at the party head office Mr. Adams taunted.
It is however, not clear whether Mr. Adams will seek re-election as the National Organizer of the opposition party.
Meanwhile, the arch rival of Mr. Kofi Adams, Yaw Boateng Gyan whom Kofi Adams beat in the fierce Sunyani polls to assume the position has declared his intentions to vie for the position again.
It however, not clear whether Mahdi Jibril will vie for the ultimate slot but so far Solomon Nkansah, the
current Director of Communications, Joshua Akambi, a Deputy Organizer have all declared their intentions.
