Head coach of the Black Stars James Kwesi Appiah has dropped the Ayew brothers from the team’s double header against Uganda in Kampala, HappyGhana.com sources have revealed.
Andre and Jordan failed to make Ghana’s trip to Congo for the return fixture in their FIFA World Cup qualifier due to ill health but were available for their clubs at the same weekend.
The decision to drop the Premier League was hugely suggested after they failed to make the Congo trip and gaffer Kwesi Appiah might have possibly heeded to the clarion call to drop them in his subsequent call-ups.
Ghana plays Uganda in a crunch World Cup qualifier next month in Kampala followed by a friendly international with Saudi Arabia.
