Mahama to swear in Deputy Ministers today

Ghana receives first of four new military helicopters – Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama is expected to swear in deputy ministers today at the Jubilee.

According to a publication from the presidency, the swearing- in ceremony is slated to begin at 1:00pm March 12, 2025.

“President John Dramani Mahama will later today swear-in a Minister of State and Deputy Minister designates approved by parliament following their successful vetting”.

The soon to be sworn in deputy ministers includes;

Thomas Nyarko Ampem – Deputy Minister for Finance

Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi – Deputy Minister for the Interior

Ernest Brogya Genfi– Deputy Minister for Defence

Dr. Clement Abas Apaak – Deputy Minister for Education

Richard Gyan-Mensah – Deputy Minister for Energy & Green Transition

Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini – Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways

Justice Srem-Sai– Deputy Minister for Justice and Attorney General

Yusif Sulemana – Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources

Rita Naa Odoley Sowah – Deputy Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs

Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui – Deputy Minister for Works, Housing, and Water Resources

Yussif Issaka Jajah– Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts

John Kofi Setor Dumelo– Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture

Samson Ahi – Deputy Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry

Additionally, Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba would also be sworn in as Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms.
