Majority Leader and MP for the Effutu constituency, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has expressed his fervent gratitude to Happy FM for its pivotal role in shaping his political career.

Reflecting on his early days as an MP in an exclusive interview with Sefah-Danquah on the Happy Morning Show, Afenyo-Markin reminisced about his debut on e.tv Ghana and Happy FM, where he engaged in enlightening discussions with host Bismarck Brown and Murtala Mohammed from the opposition NDC.

He established that these platforms, particularly Happy FM’s, provided him with invaluable opportunities to articulate his views and engage with the public.

“It was with these platforms that eventually the party started assigning me to other media stations. I’m grateful for the platform, for the lessons and exposure and all have contributed significantly to help me get to where I am now as the Majority Leader in Ghana’s 8th Parliament.

Expressing his gratitude, Afenyo-Markin urged Happy FM to continue its commendable work in fostering democracy and national progress. He emphasized the importance of media platforms in advancing dialogue, understanding and ultimately, the development of the nation.
