Mampong Akwapim Traditional Council Congratulate Sammi Awuku

The Mampong Akwapim Traditional council has congratulated Sammi Awuku for winning the New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organizer position at the just ended National Delegate’s Conference which was held Koforidua in the Eastern Region.

Mr. Awuku, was elected as the national organizer with a landslide victory at the, he beat his competitors Sulemana A. Sadik Nabicheinga and Emmanuel Tweneboah Kodua by securing as much as 4,914 votes.

His contenders Sulemana and Tweneboah Kodua had 466 and 146 votes respectively.

According to the traditional leaders of Mampong Akwapim, they are impressed with level their son [native of the area] is raising through the file and rank of the ruling party NPP.

He was the immediate past National Youth Organizer of the NPP.

On his part, Apesemakahene of Mampong Akwapim Nana Yirenkyi wished Sammy Awuku well and also thanked the NPP delegate for giving their son the nod to serve the party.

Prior to the party’s conference the entire Mampong Akwapim traditional area decanted their blessings on Sammi Awuku, at a mammoth durbar held in his honour.

Chiefs, Queen mothers, elders, and the youth of Mampong Akuapim could not hold back their support for their son, as one from their own soil.
