Medeama Sporting Club has ended their pursuit to sign former Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba, Happy Sports can confirm.

The Tarkwa-based club were in negotiations with the Burkinabe International for his signature in the ongoing transfer window.

According to our source, Songne Yacouba’s representatives had requested a signing on fee of $100,000 from Medeama.

Medeama were ready to offer the player $30,000 signing on fee and a monthly salary of Ghc 1,000.

Yacouba and his agents rejected the offer and Medeama have also pulled out of the deal to sign the forward.

Yacouba made same demands with former club Asante Kotoko before the expiration of his contract on 2 April, 2020.
