Setting and breaking world records is almost second nature to the Pole vault champion, and he added another remarkable achievement in Eugene. His fourth vault of the day garnered a resounding ovation for his spectacular 6.23m Pole vault world record jump.
Mondo’s character, unwavering consistency, and track record were all he needed to establish yet another world record at the Wanda Diamond League finals. His Pole vault jumps propelled him higher and higher, leaving spectators in awe of what they termed a “Heaven On Earth” performance.
