Prominent sports journalist and lawyer Moses Foh-Amoaning has unveiled shocking insights into the inner workings of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Foh-Amoaning revealed that GFA President Kurt Okraku disapproves of the ‘commercialization’ of the Black Stars, expressing concerns over the impact on the team’s dynamics.

According to Moses Foh Amoaning in an exclusive interview on Happy Sports with Ohene Bampoe Brenya, Kurt Okraku bemoaned the commercialisation of the Black Stars.

Foh-Amoaning’s revelations shed light on the challenges within the national team, pointing out that the selection of players has been marred by external influences.

Football figures and club owners within the national teams’ management committee are widely known to manipulate the selection process, prioritizing their own players over merit-based choices.

These revelations bring to light the issues afflicting the Black Stars and cast doubt on the governance of Ghanaian football.

Under Okraku’s leadership in the past five years, Ghana has experienced a revolving door of five different coaches, with Coach Chris Hughton being the most recent casualty.

Ghana’s recent exit from the group stages of the 2023 AFCON in Cote D’Ivoire, earning two points similar to the previous edition, adds to the challenges faced by the national team.
