Mr Eazi bags an award in the UK

Mr Eazi on Monday April 30 won an award for the most streamed song category with his hit song ‘Pour me Water’ at the 2018 edition of the Best Of Africa Awards which took place at the Ballroom of the Rosewood Hotel in London.
Launched in 2011, The Best Of Africa Awards seeks to honour and celebrate people and platforms supporting socio-economic development causes in and for Africa
Born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, Mr Eazi as he is popular known is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.
He relocated to Ghana in 2006 and enrolled in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
There were industry greats like Awilo and other African legends competing with Mr Eazi in the same category but Mr Eazi walked away with the award.
Mr Eazi is the pioneer of ‘Banku Music’, a fusion sound of Ghanaian and Nigerian Rhythms.
