A large crowd at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency have begun celebrating after the New Patriotic Party’s internally collated results show that the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Lydia Alhassan is leading her main contender, John Dumelo of the National Democratic Congress.
Prior to the collation by the ruling NPP, provisional results as shared by media houses indicated that Lydia Alhassan was far ahead of John Dumelo.
Videos circulating on social media suggested that NDC’s John Dumelo was uneasy when the counting of the votes was ongoing.
Meanwhile, people have taken to social media to troll John Dumelo as it seems the election is not going in his favour.
