Ghanaian Music Producer, Fred Kyei Mensah, also known as Fredyma, has declared that it is not and can never be true that the Ghanaian Music industry will collapse if Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy leave.

In an interview with Dr. Cann on Happy FM’s Saturday morning entertainment show, ‘Showbiz Xtra’, he stated that there are a lot of upcoming talents who can equally fill those slots and MUSIGA will stand.

Fredyma instanced, “Yesterday, during the ‘Ghana unites against Covid-19’ concert that was held, Sonnie Badu introduced one girl called Emily Gyan. I am prophesying that she will become one of the greatest gospel musicians in terms of vocal rendition”.

According to him, Emily Gyan has all the dynamics, hence if she is to take her time and find herself good song writers, she will be the best.

Per his view, there are lots of talents out there just like Emily Gyan who with time, will be discovered, and the Music industry will keep thriving even without Sarkodie, Stonebwoy or Shatta Wale.
