Nana Appiah Mensah escaped from Ghana through an unapproved route, this is according to security expert Adam Bonaa.

He revealed that the embattled Chief Executive Officer of (CEO) Menzgold sneaked out of the West African country around September 2018 into neighbouring Togo before enplaning to another country.

Speaking in an interview on an Accra based radio station, Adam Bonaa said “Nana Appiah Mensah left the country after September [2018]. He was on the shortlist of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) so he did not use any of the approved routes…. He didn’t use any of the approved routes.”

On Wednesday January 9, 2019 an Accra court has issued a bench warrant for Mr. Mensah’s arrest for allegedly “defrauding by false pretence” while operating his gold firm. His wife and sister are also on the wanted list of 194 countries.
