A deputy National Organizer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has revealed that the president does not give a hoot about any reduction on the price of fuel because, he (the president) and his family have ceased to buy fuel.
The president and his family are not feeling the heat on the price of fuel which has led to skyrocketing price of commodities in the country he said .
The president and his people are no more buying fuel so they don’t know the heat Ghanaians are feeling by way of taxes on fuel he added.
Joshua Akamba made this statement as panelist on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’, a socio-political show hosted by Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
If the president were buying fuel and feeling what Ghanaians are feeling, the president would have pushed for a reduction on fuel prices by now he stressed.
He urged Ghanaians to forget about seeing a reduction on fuel anytime soon because the president does not share in their predicaments.
