Sensational singer Nana Yaa has refuted rumours that she dated the music maestro, Kojo Antwi.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, asked if she has an intimate relationship with Kojo Antwi, she quickly answered “no.”

Nana Yaa who has worked with Kojo Antwi for years on several hit songs including the timeless “Amireka,” rumours circulated that she slept with the“Music Man,” Kojo Antwi.

Reacting to the allegations, the “Woman Power” hitmaker said, “He is my dad and I can never have an affair with him. I respect him so much and nothing like that would even happen.”

Nana Yaa also disclosed that she deliberately sidelined veteran musicians Kojo Antwi and her father, Pat Thomas, from her 13-track ‘Manye1’ album.

“This album is not for Kojo Antwi album…it’s a purely commercial album…Kojo and my dad, and the big boys will have to be on the Afro-highlife album which will be released later,” she said.

Nana Yaa urged Ghanaians and fellow musicians to patronize her songs.

“I want Ghanaians to give me the chance. I want me fellow celebrities to talk about my songs. They will see me in town and familiarize but ignore me on social media. It’s a game but we all want the same thing and in the same direction. I don’t want them to see me as Pat Thomas’s daughter.

“I don’t just do music for Ghanaians. If I am just doing for Ghanaians then I will stick to the ‘My Hunny vibe’. But I have to start from home but they should try to accept me…,” she added.

Nana Yaa is the daughter of legendary highlife musician Pat Thomas.
