The High School Showcase at the 2025 National Basketball Invitational delivered another exciting chapter in the tournament’s mission to nurture future basketball talent. In a thrilling matchup, Mfantsipim School dominated the court, securing a commanding 42-24 victory over Ghana Christian International High School.

 

The game highlighted the immense potential of young athletes, with Mfantsipim showcasing exceptional teamwork, sharp shooting, and a strong defensive strategy. Ghana Christian International fought hard, but Mfantsipim’s consistent performance and tactical execution sealed their well-deserved win.

A New Era for High School Basketball: Black Oak High School Championship

In addition to the High School Showcase, the#NBI2025 proudly announced the launch of a brand-new initiative – the Black Oak High School Championship! This groundbreaking tournament will bring together basketball teams from both private and public schools, providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, compete at a higher level, and gain exposure to scouts, coaches, and fans.

The Black Oak High School Championship aims to bridge the gap between school-level basketball and elite competition, fostering talent development and creating opportunities for young players to shine. By uniting teams from diverse backgrounds, the tournament will not only celebrate the sport but also promote unity, teamwork, and the growth of basketball across Ghana and beyond.
