National Record Alert: Rose A. Yeboah sets new heights with 1.94m Jump, clinches Gold for GUSA at World University Games in China

Ghanaian high jump sensation Rose A. Yeboah has soared to new heights, securing a stunning gold medal for the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) at the ongoing World University Games (FISU) in Chengdu, China. 

Breaking the national record, Yeboah’s remarkable jump of 1.94 meters has not only brought glory to her university but also sparked interest in the athletics world.

With this remarkable achievement, Rose A. Yeboah has also secured her place at this year’s prestigious World Athletics Championships, which will take place in Budapest, Hungary. 

She won Ghana’s first-ever gold medal at the 2019 African Games, showcasing her talent on an international stage and leaving an indelible mark on Ghanaian sports history.

As the 2023 World Athletics Championships approach, all eyes will be on Budapest, where the world’s finest athletes will converge at the National Athletics Centre. 

With Rose A. Yeboah’s inspiring performance and her potential to excel on the global stage, hopes are high for her to make her nation proud once again.

Ghana, an emerging sports powerhouse, may take enormous satisfaction in having such a remarkable talent as Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah, whose achievements continue to inspire and ignite enthusiasm in the hearts of young athletes around the country.
