Ghanaian middle-distance runner Aziz Mohammed has roared onto the national scene, claiming the coveted gold medal in the 1500m at the recent NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. However, the national championship wasn’t Mohammed’s only triumph this year. Earlier, he cemented his place in West Texas A&M history by securing second place in the 1500m at a school meet with an impressive time of 3:44 seconds.
This blistering performance not only ranked him fourth in the NCAA Division II but also solidified his position as the program’s second-fastest runner ever in the event.
