The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has rejected the claim that all political parties seek power solely to enrich themselves.
Speaking at a rally in Logba Alakpeti in the Afadzato South District of the Volta Region, Nketia emphasized the NDC’s commitment to non-discrimination and social development, contrasting it with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s alleged discriminatory practices in development and employment opportunities.
According to Asiedu Nketia, the NDC’s core beliefs ensure equal opportunities for all Ghanaians, regardless of tribe or political affiliation. He highlighted the NDC’s focus on channeling resources into citizen-benefiting initiatives, making development projects the party’s primary objective when in power.
The NDC’s campaign in Afadzato South District aims to secure all valid votes on December 7, 2024. This constituency has historically been an NDC stronghold since Ghana’s Fourth Republic began in 1992.
