The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will officially launch its 2024 election campaign on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in Tamale, located in the Northern Region.

John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, disclosed this information during the ‘Get Fit and Ready Mahama Walk’ event in Accra.

He mentioned that the campaign would be conducted across various regions nationwide leading up to the 2024 elections.

During the walk, John Mahama underscored the necessity of collective effort in the campaign to garner more votes.

‘’The campaign is for all of us. it is not for Joshua Alabi, he is the campaign manager. It is not for your constituency campaign taskforces; it is not for your regional campaign taskforces. It is for every one of you. Any spare time you have, wear your T-shirts, we are going to send you leaflets and you go from house to house and distribute the leaflets to your neighbours and tell them the message of the NDC’’ he said.

He also called on party agents and executives to remain vigilant on election day until the results are declared, aiming to prevent potential irregularities such as cheating and to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process.

“On that day, you are not just going to vote and go home. You will wait and protect the ballot box. I don’t want to call agents or executives and your lines are switched off,” he stated.
