The National Information Technology Agency (NITA) has announced a temporary outage on the Government of Ghana Email Platform, affecting communication services across various state institutions.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, August 27, NITA explained that its technical team has identified the issue and is working diligently to restore the platform’s full functionality.
“We understand the importance of this platform in supporting government communication and public service delivery, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this disruption may cause,” the statement read.
The Government of Ghana Email Platform serves as a critical channel for official communication between ministries, departments, and agencies.
The Agency assured users that every effort is being made to resolve the situation in the shortest possible time, with regular updates to be provided to keep users informed.
NITA further expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation of users as restoration efforts continue, while also offering an apology for the inconvenience caused.
