The special aide of the Nkawkaw Member of Parliament, Morrison Kwasi Nyarko has disclosed that Joseph Frimpong is well and fit to file his nomination ahead 7th December election.

According to him, the MP for Nkawkaw Constituency, Hon. Joseph Frimpong hasn’t prepared all the required documents to file his nomination in order for the constituents retain him as their Member of Parliament.

The New Patriotic Party made a decision September 2, 2024 to replace Joseph Frimpong due to his unstable health condition that has reportedly hindered a smooth campaign ahead of the December 2024 elections.

The party selected David Asante, who lost to the incumbent MP during the Parliamentary primaries in the constituency as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) has since rescinded their decision to replace Mr. Joseph Frimpong in it’s meeting held on Wednesday, 11 September.
