NPP Decides: Ursula Owusu secures victory in Ablekuma West

The incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West and Minister for Communications, Ursula Gifty Owusu-Ekuful, has emerged victorious again in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries for the constituency.

Facing off against her contender, Roni Kwesi Nicol, Ursula Gifty Owusu-Ekuful demonstrated her unwavering popularity and support among party delegates.

The final vote count establishes her position as the preferred candidate to represent the constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The official results for the Ablekuma West NPP primaries are as follows:

  • Ursula Gifty Owusu-Ekuful (Incumbent MP): 817 votes
  • Roni Kwesi Nicol: 241 votes

The sizable margin between the two candidates highlights the confidence and endorsement Ursula Gifty Owusu-Ekuful enjoys among the party faithful.
