New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Ing. Kwabena Agyepong, has called on party delegates to place values above vanity in the party’s upcoming presidential election.
He made the appeal on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, during the launch of his six-pillar policy vision ahead of the NPP’s presidential primaries.
Addressing the delegates, Ing. Agyepong stressed the need to select a candidate based on character, principles, and integrity, rather than mere personal appeal.
“To my fellow patriots, our delegates, entrusted to choose the next President of our beloved country on January 31, do not just choose a candidate; choose values over vanity.
Choose principles over patronage, choose character over chicanery, choose to believe again.
“Let’s come together, party and people, and build this new Ghana. Let us embrace this covenant and march forward to victory,” he said.
The New Patriotic Party is scheduled to elect its presidential candidate for the 2028 general elections on January 31, 2026.
