The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has condemned comments made by a suspended founding member of the NPP, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe.
In the aftermath of the NPP Delegates Conference in Koforidua, Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe descended heavily on Freddie Blay, saying he and others will not recognize Mr. Blay as the party chairman.
According to him, “an imposter has been used by a group of people to become the Chairman of the party”
“If Freddie Blay is truly committed as a politician then he should fix the issues in CPP rather than become the NPP and serve factional interest. I will never consider him as a true member of the NPP…I will never ever consider him as my chairman; those who want to consider him can go ahead and consider him. I know there are a lot of Ghanaians who are members of the New Patriotic Party who will not consider him as their chairman. Freddie Blay is not a member of our party, he has not been a member of our party for long” he indicated.
But the Deputy Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Boahene who claims Dr. Tamakloe is not recognised as a member of the NPP told 3FM Wednesday that “characters like Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has no sense of shame”.
“If he has any sense of shame, he won’t be talking about the NPP. Allow some of us to watch the Croatia vs England and stop wasting our time on a character like Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe. He campaigned with former President Mahama. He can form his party. He is a traitor of the highest order”, he added.
