The former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu-Juabeng in the Ashanti Region, Afrifa Yamoah Ponko has reiterated the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is so inept that it has developed one day –one problem policy.
According to the opposition National Democratic Congress’ kingpin from the Ashanti region, when the party was in opposition and promising one this, that little did it know that it will be confronted with the realities in government?
He explained that anytime the NPP is found wanting is when they bring one problem or the other to douse their ineptitude.
‘’Tomorrow is this then the following day is another one! ‘This is how it is when you show insincerity to assume power.
I can tell you on authority that the NDC led by ex-president John Dramani Mahama did a great job during his reign but because of the lies NPP told, Ghanaians took the decision to show the NDC the exit’’ he said.
Mr. Yamoah Ponko gave this explanation of the NPP in government when he interacted with Kwame Afrifa Mensah, the host of ‘Epa Hoa Daben’; socio-political programme on Accra-based Happy FM.
He says he does not envy the NPP at all because of the lies have told as it is catching up with them. It has always been the NPP’s stock in trade any time they are found wanting in government by bringing problems up.
He said this is just the beginning and Ghanaians will come to terms with what they have missed under the Mahama- led administration.
