The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today, October 10, 2025, hold a crucial balloting exercise ahead of its presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026.
The event will take place at the party’s national headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra.
This exercise will determine the placement of candidates on the ballot paper, marking a significant milestone in the party’s internal election process.
Five aspirants are expected to participate:
– Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong
– Ken Ohene Agyapong
– Dr. Bryan Acheampong
– Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
– Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum
All candidates have successfully completed the vetting process and received formal invitations to attend the balloting.
The party has congratulated them on reaching this stage and urged them to confirm their participation.
As the NPP gears up for its presidential primary, today’s balloting represents a key step in selecting the party’s flagbearer for the 2026 general elections.
