Head coach of Nsoatreman FC, Boniface Ayipah is confident his side can avoid relegation in the ongoing betPawa Ghana Premier League(GPL) season.

The Nsuatre-based club secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Real Tamale United at the Nana Kronmansah Park on Friday.

The victory over Real Tamale United has boosted their chances of avoiding relegation, and the team’s coach is optimistic about their prospects.

“Nsoatreman is determined to stay in the GPL. We would have hoped to be at least in the top six or a comfortable position in the league but that isn’t the situation. The journey hasn’t been easy. We are determined to win all three points in our next Premier League game and we know the next few games will decide if we stay or get relegated. The boys are ready to give their all this weekend,” Coach Boniface told Joe Debrah on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports.

“It will be very painful and sad if we get relegated. It will come as a shock because getting relegated isn’t our target for the season but we will overcome this and avoid relegation,” he added.

As a debutant in the Ghana Premier League, Nsoatreman FC currently occupies the 14th position on the league table with 40 points, one point shy of the relegation zone from 31 matches played.

They travel to Berekum Chelsea this weekend and will hope to emerge victorious to boost their chances of staying in the League.
