Ghana Premier League side, Nsoatreman FC have reportedly withdrawn their participation from the ongoing 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League season.

According to a report sighted by Happy Sports, Nsoatreman FC have officially written to the Ghana Football Association to communicate their decision to withdraw from the league.

This development comes on the back of the chaos that happened at the Nana Konamansah Park during the game between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko leading to the death of Nana Pooley, a fan of the Kumasi-based club.

Nsoatreman FC according to reports raised concern about the safety of their players, who are allegedly at risk due to the death of Asante Kotoko fan Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Pooley.

Nsoatreman indicated that their withdrawal will allow them to implement measures to ensure peace prevails while the Ghana Football Association investigates the tragic incident.
