Hiplife act, Patapaa has finally won an award for the Most Popular Song of The Year after losing it to Fancy Gadam at the Ghana Music Awards.
The ‘one corner’ hitmaker was rewarded at the 2018 edition of the Music Magic and Comedy concert held at the National Theatre on Saturday night as his song (one corner) was adjudged the most popular song of the year by the event organizers. The Swedru based artiste was awarded a Huawei smart phone.
After the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) held at the Accra International Conference Center, many entertainment and music lovers took to social media to chastise organisers of the prestigious award event of cheating Patapaa as they believe Patapaa’s ‘one corner’ tune deserved to win the song of the year award ahead of “Total Cheat” by Fancy Gadam
