Reports from Happy FM has revealed that while there have not being any casualties recorded from the fire incidence, a lot of property of the students has been lost.
One house master (name withheld) on campus when Happy FM’s Joseph Nii Ankrah visited the school said: “the students were at prep at the time when the fire started so there were no casualties but students belongings got burnt.”
One student also said they prevented the fire from spreading to other areas of the two halls before the arrival of the Fire Service. Two halls, at the Accra Academy Senior High School, Halm-Addo and Alema at the Accra Academy Senior High School at Kaneshie, Accra, was gutted by fire, yesterday.
