Senegal are the champions of the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations after beating Ghana 3-1 in a penalty shootout.
The game ended 1-1 after regulation time as both teams scored in the extra time with Senegal getting the opening goal of the game through Youssouph Badji who connected a cross from Niang two minutes into the second half of extra time.
Joseph Esso quickly responded and got the equalizer for Ghana three minutes later.
