President Akufo- Addo has assured Ghanaians of constant power supply without interruptions.
According to him, there were some challenges with regards to capacity management and supply of Gas from Ghana Gas, which attributed to power outages for sometime.
‘’We had problems with capacity challenges especially this past couple of weeks with the Ghana Gas supply. Gas supply also tripped and we’ve had capacity challenges this last forth night’’.
President Akufo- Addo emphasized that, the constant power outage was not due to financial constraints but the supply of Gas from Ghana Gas and capacity management.
“Today we can assure the country there would be uninterrupted supply, there is a full load and management is now completely secured and stable”.
He mentioned that, the Sunon Asgoli 560WM power plant is back to operations, hence the assurance that, there would be uninterrupted supply of power.
