President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s final Presidential Pitch event marked a major milestone in his administration’s dedication to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among Ghana’s youth.

Held in Accra, the event gathered young entrepreneurs from across the nation, offering a platform to present their innovative business ideas and secure essential support to expand their ventures.

The Presidential Pitch, a widely recognized initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of business leaders, offered young visionaries the opportunity to present their proposals directly to the president and a panel of distinguished judges.

The event highlighted the government’s dedication to youth empowerment, especially in the field of entrepreneurship.

In his address, President Akufo-Addo emphasized the vital role young entrepreneurs play in driving economic growth and stressed the importance of supporting their ventures to spur job creation and innovation.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment, referencing the numerous initiatives and policies introduced over the years to support startups and small businesses in Ghana.

This year’s pitch was especially competitive, showcasing a diverse array of ideas that highlighted the creativity and resilience of Ghana’s youth.

The winning projects secured significant financial support and valuable mentorship opportunities, both essential for transforming their concepts into thriving businesses.

The panel of judges, consisting of business leaders and industry experts, expressed their admiration for the high-quality presentations, noting that participants exhibited not only strong entrepreneurial potential but also a deep understanding of their target markets.

As the final edition of the Presidential Pitch under Akufo-Addo’s presidency, the event also served as a reflection on the progress made over the years.

The initiative has seen many young entrepreneurs who were once participants now running successful enterprises that contribute to the economy.

The president expressed pride in these achievements, emphasising that the programme’s legacy would continue to inspire and support future generations of entrepreneurs in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo’s last Presidential Pitch was a testament to the success of his administration’s focus on youth entrepreneurship.

The event not only highlighted the government’s support for young innovators but also reinforced the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial talent as a means of fostering economic growth.

As the curtain falls on this chapter of his presidency, the impact of the Presidential Pitch is set to resonate in Ghana’s business landscape for years to come.

The NEIP CEO, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for his unwavering leadership and support, which has been instrumental in the success of the Presidential Pitch.

This year’s Presidential Pitch was won by Naamgwimaa Samuel, the founder of Naamgwinaa Technologies.

His innovative electronics company specializes in designing and manufacturing the Smart Switch, a state-of-the-art device that optimizes energy management and automation for both homes and businesses.

The Smart Switch is versatile, capable of being installed in rooms, streetlights, cars, air conditioners, and more.
